What we are doing

Britvic has committed to reducing its direct carbon emissions by 50% by 2025, and to be carbon neutral by 2050. We were the first UK soft drinks company to sign up to best practice Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) a collaboration including the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). 

Creating a world where packaging never becomes waste

Our packaging is already 100% recyclable and by 2025, we’re aiming to reduce packaging per serve by 20% and for all bottles in Great Britain and Ireland to be made from 100% rPET and/or sustainably sourced PET. 

Packed with care

The demand for sustainability is reflected in the public’s attitude to packaged drinks too. Recent research from Ball Corporation shows that 73% of consumers would choose to drink from environmentally-friendly containers if given the choice and half would be willing to pay more for sustainably packaged drinks. So it’s fair to conclude that such options should be given greater prominence in your offer.
